As I sit in this rickety city bus, on my way home from office, I am lost in thought. And it is about miracles. I am unsure, why I started thinking in this direction. Also, I may not be having scientific evidences to prove my point, but I know miracles do happen.
What kind of miracles am I talking about? What I refer here are not paranormal activities, which may occur with absolutely no explanation from science or intervention of natural forces. They do occur as we speak, but I am in no mood to touch upon that.
What are Miracles for me? There are simple things that we need in life, but have to struggle for it, and it seems to us that we may never be able to achieve it. We seem to lose hope but we still choose to hold on to a thread like hope. And Bingo, as if by magic you get what you need. (Remember I am saying 'need' here). This is miracle.
Sounds strange right? One can give perfectly logical and political reasoning for it, but your heart knows that it is indeed a magic. There are many miracles that do happen in our lives, which we ignore a lot. In the last 24 hours find out how many such miracles happened to you. Definitely you have not noticed many of them. But these miracles do happen, and often with our knowledge but we choose to attribute it to ourselves. Such small little miracle changes the course of our life drastically. Let us celebrate such little miracles in our life and continue hoping for such miracles in our life.
As I write this, I am hopeful of many things that I believe would change my life. I believe in blessings that these beautiful things bring to me. I believe that there could not be any replacement. I believe that God on high looks through all of us, and when the time is right, they will be made available to us. Some may call me foolish in hoping too much. But if I don't hope, then I don't believe how special those things are for me.
