It was great to be in the Orange City last week. I had an opportunity to be myself. With no Oracle, no alerts, no troubleshooting. I was just Inacio for those three days I spent there. I was the same person I was in college. I was doing the things that I do the best and love to do.
Nagpur, is a city of great emotional value to me. It is here that I learnt my potential and started my journey. All that I am today, is because it was that city that taught me to believe in my potential. But I had left a lot of myself back there. Everyone must be experiencing that feeling that we leave some part of ourselves in our colleges/schools, as soon as we start working. I was back in my alma mater re-living that part.
This three days, I was sharing all that I learnt about life to my younger friends in the Teenager Orientation Programme (TOP) conducted by CDRESS-SFS College, but I myself was learning and redefining my philosophy of life. In all the rush of our lives, we lose ourselves and we feel it is alright and necessary to do so. But that's not how it has to be.
There is something unique in each one of us. We need to find that and nurture it. To be practical enough, we cannot make that unique thing us our full-time ambition or goal, but definitely can spare two-three hours for it. I have resolved that I will nurture that uniqueness in me, and work towards building it. For some reasons or the other it can't be my full time goal, But I am making effort that it is never neglected. Soon enough you might also see the fruits of my efforts. Till then I am keeping it a secret.
Thanks to all who made me travel back in time to my college days. Re-visiting myself has indeed helped me. I hope that reading this account of mine, even you have started travelling back in time in the quest for that uniqueness in you. All I could say is all the very best and God Bless.
